Limbo Music! Not what you think. I don't write Caribbean music. This is not just about planting your feet in the sand and spreading your legs. Although that's a tantalizing image. Limbo music, my Limbo music, is about livin' in LimboLand. When you grab the real essence of our situation. A family of hairless apes out here in the backwater of the universe on a limb of the Milky Way galaxy. Things look a little different than they do on the TV! The talking heads there are all speaking jibberish. Making the lesser the stronger case and the truth seem like fiction. We live in this gigantic dream created by the great human brain in which we all participate. It's like a giant room, the size of infinity, lined with mirrors all reflecting back in on us. Wherever you go, there you are. So, I write music to celebrate our "Limboness." You see, the universe is flexible. It's how we see it. You think the sun rises. But it doesn't, the earth rotates into its path. You think you see color, but you don't. You receive light waves into your head where the color is generated so you can tell the different frequencies apart. You think the universe is solid, relative to the density of your fingertips, but the universe is mainly space. Particles are passing through you as you read this. Nothing is as it seems. Don't let this terrify you. This is opportunity! If the universe is how we see it. Let's get together and see a better universe! Let's forget about war and live in peace.
